Minnehaha Falls is an iconic location in Minnesota. 15 minutes away from downtown in South Minneapolis, this place has captured the imagination of millions, mine included. 

Gichi-onigamiing, what we know as Grand Portage, is arguably my favorite place accessible to Minnesotans. Much can be seen from the overlooks and state park trails. Solitude comes easily up here, similar to the BWCA—with its unique magic.
